A Hands-On Baking Experience to Share Sourdough is even better when you make it together! Bring a friend, sister, daughter, neighbor—or your favorite baking buddy—and enjoy the Simply Sourdough beginner experience together. You’ll learn the fundamentals of sourdough, from starter care and fermentation to stretching, folding and shaping. Work side-by-side, enjoy treats from the Simply Sourdough Tasting Table, and leave ready to continue baking at home. $175 per pair — save $75 compared with booking two individual spots. What’s Included: Hands-on instruction for two, one shared baking equipment set (banneton basket, bread lame & dough whisk), live sourdough starter, take-home dough, freshly baked bread, recipe & take-home guide, plus the Simply Sourdough Tasting Table. Class Booking, Cancellation & Participation Policy Simply Sourdough classes are hands-on baking experiences involving hot ovens, cookware, utensils, kitchen equipment, flour, raw ingredients and other ordinary kitchen hazards. Participation may involve risks including cuts, burns, slips, allergic reactions and foodborne illness. Participants agree to follow all instructor safety directions and voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with participation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless Simply Sourdough Starkey Ranch, its owner, instructors and agents from claims arising from participation, except where prohibited by law. ALLERGIES: Foods may contain or contact wheat/gluten, dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, sesame or other allergens. Food is prepared in a shared kitchen and an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed. Participants must disclose allergies or dietary restrictions before class. Those with severe allergies should contact us before booking. MINORS: Simply Sourdough Junior is intended for ages 8–+ with a parent/guardian or responsible adult. Children under 8 require advance approval. The accompanying adult is responsible for supervision and safety. 21+ EVENTS: Events advertised as 21+ are limited to guests age 21 or older. Valid ID may be required. PHOTOS/VIDEO: Photos or videos may be taken for our website, social media and marketing. Participation does not require photo consent. Please notify us before class if you or your child do not wish to be photographed. CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES: All registrations are non-refundable due to the advance preparation, ingredients and materials required for each participant. We understand plans change, so one change to another available class date/time is permitted when requested more than 5 days before class. Changes within 5 days are not eligible for rescheduling, credit or refund. No-shows forfeit registration. Registrations may be transferred to another person with advance notice. If Simply Sourdough cancels a class, guests may reschedule or receive a refund. TAKE-HOME ITEMS: Participants are responsible for proper handling, storage, fermentation and baking of dough, starter and food after leaving class. By booking, you acknowledge these policies, class risks, allergy disclosures and safety requirements. If registering a minor, you confirm authority to consent to their participation.
